Experience. Professionalism. Detail-Oriented.
Joseph Dickey, President of JD Consulting & Investigation, began his career as a Special Agent of the FBI in 1997 following training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA., the world’s premier law enforcement learning and research center and an advocate for law enforcement’s best practices.

Mr. Dickey was assigned to the FBI’s Las Vegas Division where he developed his skills and expertise investigating complex financial crimes, health care fraud and public corruption as a case agent.

He was the case agent for Operation G-Sting, a long-term investigation targeting corruption in the Clark County Commission. Utilizing wiretaps and a variety of other sophisticated investigative techniques, four former Clark County Commissioners were convicted of bribery-related offenses as a result of the investigation.

Mr. Dickey also utilized his background in public relations to serve the FBI as a media representative.

Mr. Dickey was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent in July 2011 where he oversaw the division's electronic technicians, technical agents, applicant and training programs and the division's polygraph examiner.

A short time later, Mr Dickey was chosen to supervise the division's public corruption and civil rights squad. Over the next seven years, he would lead a team of special agents and forensic accountants investigating sensitive,
high-profile corruption matters, including:

• Nevada State Senate Majority Leader Kelvin Atkinson
• Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow
• Influential lobbyist Harvey Whittemore
• Family Court Judge Steven Jones
• The Vistana Homeowner’s Association (HOA) corruption scheme

Mr. Dickey launched JD Consulting & Investigation after retiring from the FBI in 2019.
